My beloved Abby! She was my first Nigerian. I got her as a Christmas present from my mom. She started it all!!
Abby did well in the show ring, with two Grand Champions, two Reserves, numerous firsts and best udder.
Her show career was cut short by a break in her shoulder. After that she lived out her days as boss on the farm and having babies. She was retired from kidding in 2006 and passed over the Rainbow bridge in 2008.
She is sadly missed, but her genes will live on in my herd forever!
